മലപ്പുറം : ലഹരി വ്യാപനത്തിനെതിരെ ആഭ്യന്തര വകുപ്പ് നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്ന 'ഓപ്പറേഷൻ തൂഫാൻ: ദി നാർക്കോ ഹണ്ട്' കാമ്പയിന്റെ രണ്ടാം ഘട്ടമായ 'തൂഫാൻ തദ്ദേശം' പദ്ധതിക്ക് ഐക്യദാർഢ്യം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച് മലപ്പുറത്ത് അമ്മമാരുടെ പദയാത്ര.

അബ്ദുറഹിമാൻ നഗർ ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തിലാണ് ലഹരിക്കെതിരെയുള്ള ശക്തമായ ജനകീയ മുന്നറിയിപ്പുമായി അമ്മമാർ അണിനിരന്ന പദയാത്ര സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചത്. 'അമ്മച്ചുവടുകൾ ലഹരിക്കെതിരെ' എന്ന പേരിലായിരുന്നു പരിപാടി.

ലഹരിമുക്ത നാളേയ്ക്കായി നാടിന്റെ കാവലാളുകളാകാൻ അമ്മമാർ പ്രതിജ്ഞയെടുത്ത യാത്രയിൽ പഞ്ചായത്തിലെ വിവിധ വാർഡുകളിൽ നിന്നായി നൂറുകണക്കിന് സ്ത്രീകളും ജനപ്രതിനിധികളും പങ്കെടുത്തു.
